   We proudly honour these inspirational
   Kidney Health Australia 'Angels'

Operation Angel Awards recognise exceptional people and organisations that make an outstanding contribution to Kidney Health in Australia in the medical, carer, and public awareness fields.

This program was set up to honour and recognise kidney patients, and the work carried out by hundreds of people daily, in hospitals and medical clinics to assist over 14,000 Australians on dialysis and with transplantation.  It also recognises the commitment of family, friends and work colleagues.

Our latest presentation of Operation Angel Awards

In celebration of Kidney Health Australia's 40th Anniversary in 2008, we are honouring 40 new 'Angels' - a very special celestial group.

At our most recent presentation, The Hon Minister John Hill, SA Minister for Health, awarded 'Angel' status to some very special people from the Adelaide kidney community on 24 July 2008.

Seen here with Minister Hill cutting our 40th birthday cake are Steve Attard, Kirsten Dermody, Nancy Douglas-Irving, Di Godfrey, Jeff Lang, Roxanne Perry and Enzo Scipioni.

Our Special Angels in our 40th Anniversary Year

The 'Angels' below have been officially honoured by Kidney Health Australia in its 40th year.  Operation Angel Awards gives recognition to the diverse range of people from so many walks of life, revealing the many faces of Kidney disease which affects one in three Australians.  See extended profiles for all our Angels under their individual State listings and links below.
