Day 1
Day 1 started at the Pioneer Settlment in Swan Hill at 7:30am. Due to excess rain, the first leg of the race had to be cancelled due to cars not being able to get through the mud. Competitors enjoyed a great lunch at Pinnaroo bakery and then headed off to Murray Bridge in the first competitive stage of the rally.
The extremely muddy conditions made for a hairy ride for all competitors with one Kar 1995 finding it a bit wet and rolling. Fortunately no one was hurt, except for a few ego's.

Day 2
Day 2 started at Murrary Brudge and once again the weather wasn't nice with competitors facing the wettest conditions of any Kidney Kar Rally. Some competitors cars found it to hard to get throught the extreme conditions, with Kar 33 having to retire in Hawker for repairs.
Leaving Burra after lunch, the competitors enjoyed some of the most beauitful scenery on the rally while heading into the Flinders Ranges. At night, the competitors enjoyed a fantastic dinner put on at the Wilpena Pound Resort with many staying out and enjoying the outside fire surrounded by picturesque mountains.

Day 3
Day 3 started with a very challenging route through the beautiful Flinders Ranges. Participants carried a packed lunch today and ended up in Broken Hill. Most entrants today were caught out today by a "secret control" set up by the Road Directors with over half the field losing points.
The annual "Ambo Raffle" was held at night with Kar 1995 winning a $8,732 credit towards their entrant fees for next year. Thank you once again to Phil Hoey and his team for their fantastic fundraising efforts.

Day 4
Day 4 was one of the longest completed ever in the history of the KKR. A 800km transport stage from Broken Hill to Quilpie. Drivers drive through the recent flooded areas of Southern Queensland which proved to be a lot of fun as it included a lot of water, mud and dust.
This was a non-competitive day, so there are no results. Tomorrow the KKR heads to Charleville!
Day 5
Day 5 was a shorter stage due to the long transport stage on Day 4. Competitors were greated with a testing 300km journey from Quilpie to Charleville through some of the best rally roads around. Some competitors found it a little too hard and got bogged in some places. Luckily though, there are 4wds to help everyone out. The dinner tonight is our annual dress up with this year's theme "Wigs and Cleavage" sure to provide a few laughs.

Day 6
Day 6 started with all competitors leaving Charleville and heading to Injune through some tough rally stages. After experiencing some of the wettest and coldest conditions earlier in the rally, entrants were great with 30+ degree weather. After lunch in Injune, competitors rallied their way to Taroom where the local community put on a terrific dinner for all in the town hall. Four very competitive forest stages await all the competitors tomorrow as they travel to Dalby for the second last day of the rally.

Day 7
After temperatures above 30 yesterday, competitors were greeted with pouring rain on Friday morning. Unfortunately due to the excess amount of water on the rally roads, all stages had to be cancelled due to unsafe conditions. Entrants enjoyed at great lunch in Chinchilla, with all arriving safely to Dalby to spend the second last night together, with many using this extra time to fix up their cars.
No results for Day 7 due to cancellation of rally stages.
Day 8
Entrants started off in Dalby for the last day of the Kidney Kar Rally. Fortunately the weather was kind to all for the last day with all stages being completed along the way to our stop in Glen Innes. The day included class 4, 5 and 6 rally roads so it was a great way to end the rally with some of the best rally roads NSW had to offer.
