Kidney Health Check Project at Armadale Hospital

The Kidney Health Check project was conducted during National Kidney Week in May 2009 at the Armadale Health Service (AHS) foyer. With the support of the Renal Consultant, this Nurse Practitioner led project provided the public a free comprehensive Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Risk Factors screening via blood, urine, blood pressure and BMI tests for the general public.

Service of Thanksgiving

Kidney Health Australia held a Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance on Sunday, 24 May 2009 at Wesley Church, corner of Hay and Williams Street, Perth in recognition of all those who have been a part of the transplant journey. Kidney Health Australia extended a special invitation to transplant recipients, their families and friends, and those families who have made life-giving decision at time of personal loss.
