Free Blood Pressure Checks 2009

As part of Kidney Health Week, Kidney Health Australia conducted free blood pressure checks for the general public as part of its "Measure Up" campaign and encourages people 'at risk' to have their blood pressure checked regularly, not only during Kidney Health Week.

Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance

The annual Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance was held on Saturday 30 May 2009 at Melbourne City Conference Centre, 333 Swanston St, Melbourne in recognition of all those who have been a part of the transplant journey.

As part of Kidney Health Week, Kidney Health Australia extended a special invitation to all transplant recipients, their families and friends, and those families who have made life-giving decisions at times of personal loss. The service was hosted by the Victorian Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation Services and related Consumer Health Organisations.
