Kidney Health Week - 22 May to 28 May 2011
It's time for some decent exposure!
Kidney Health Australia is launching its annual Kidney Health Week campaign under the banner of "Red Undies Week", which is designed to be playful and a little bit cheeky and give some decent exposure to chronic kidney disease, a disease which has flown under the radar for too long. To take part in Red Undies Week, visit www.redundiesweek.org.au and support Kidney Health Australia. Order our posters via our resource centre.
Service of Thanksgiving - Saturday 21 May 2011
Donate Life hosted a Service of Thanksgiving at the Door of Hope, Glen Dhu Street, Launceston, in recognition of organ and tissue donors and their families who make transplantation possible.

This special service was attended by over 150 people and was a memorable service. Songs were performed by the Scotch Oakburn College, a performance was given by Tasmanian dance members.
A candle exchange ceremony was also held with touching reflections from a donor family, recipient and donor recipient, Mandy who received a kidney from her Aunt last year. View the event flyer here.
