Kidney Health Week 2009 National Launch
Kidney Health Australia's Patron in Chief, Her Excellency Quentin Bryce officially launched the week. The official launch was followed by a BIG RED BBQ for all Government Ministers, staff and guests with a focus on promoting health eating and reducing blood pressure.
Kidney Health Week 2009 ACT Launch - The Canberra launch for Kidney Health Week aimed to raise awareness of Chronic Kidney Disease, with specific messaging around controlling blood pressure. The launch included special guests speakers; nephrologist Dr Girish, ACT Minister Katy Gallagher and David Parker.
Free Blood Pressure Checks - As part of Kidney Health Week, Kidney Health Australia conducted free blood pressure checks at Woden Shopping Centre - a great opportunity to educate the general public on the importance of keeping your blood pressure down.
