BIG RED KIDNEY WALK Minimize

Kidney Health Australia's Big Red Kidney Walk is designed to help raise awareness and funds for kidney disease across Australia. It is an event that brings the kidney community together for a family fun day where people can meet, go for a walk or run.

The walks feature varying distances to accommodate walkers and runners of all ages and abilities. A BBQ is held for all event participants after the walk’s conclusion and features entertainment for the whole family.

Our participants usually have a special connection with kidney health and want to help raise awareness of this important cause! They usually have the support of family and friends.

We are looking for event photos
We are currently gathering photos from each of our Big Red Kidney Walks across Australia and will share a link with you shortly so you can take a look. If you have photos you'd like to share we would love to see it. Please email any you have taken to
bigredkidneywalk@kidney.org.au

This year our Big Red Kidney Walk was held on Sunday 14 September 2014, with simultaneous walks in Adelaide, Brisbane, Launceston, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, with over 3,000 walkers, and has raised around $130,500 and rising!

Even though the walk is over, you can still visit our official event page to purchase merchandise and be part of the fundraising - bigredkidneywalk2014.gofundraise.com.au
