Welcome to the Kidney Health Australia February Bulletin and a busy start to 2010 with a major Workshop on Home Dialysis, the launch of a Kidney Health Awareness Program into schools via the internet and preparation for World Kidney Day on 11 March 2010.

Our National Consumer Council has been hard at work drafting a special document which takes into account patient views and the economic impact of Chronic Kidney Disease in the future.  This will be released on World Kidney Day as part of our Red Letter program to alert Members of Parliament to the needs of kidney patients and their families.

Despite the high temperatures, players enjoyed being tested by the Australian Masters course layout. After enjoying the BBQ lunch and golf, players enjoyed the new facilities and were entertained by Normie Rowe. Everyone dug deep and Kidney Health Australia was able to raise a record amount of money. Thank you to all those that donated prizes and participated on the day, especially our Major Partner, City Mazda.
