Kidney Health Australia and Amgen collaborated with an expert group. to gather and share existing education material that was culturally sensitive to the needs of Indigenous Australians. Most reviewed resources listed below use images to tell simple stories. They may also be appropriate for patients who have English as a second language.
This project was committed to reviewing resources promoting a healthy lifestyle and CVD risk reduction, but with a kidney focus. Materials approved by our expert group were judged as quality resources. Many are free and most are downloadable.
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people are advised some resources may contain images and voices of people that have died.
