That Dreaded Weight Gain!
 (N/A)

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone out there sufferiung from kidney disease/failure could suggest any ways of getting extra exercise to help with shedding some of the weight I have gained whilst being on pd?

Swimming, although a pleasant past time, is now one of the things that is harder to do now, as i can only go swimming in clean water (like at the beach).  Pools, creeks, dams and rivers are a no-no due to the potential germs in the water.

Walking is good, but due to on going foot problems, I am unable to walk for too long, or very far these days.  Otherwise I end up on cruthes for a week or two as a result. Which really makes life hard at times.

So is there any other exercises people can think of that could help with some weight loss?  any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

MissyD
