Hi,i had been feeling off for a while and didnt really take a lot of notice except for the constant nausea and catching colds all the time..didnt want to eat anything which made me start loosing weight, feeling week and run down..In early april this year i had some blood tests done only to reveal..my kidney function was 26 and also blood sugers were outa wack..so following that had the glucose test which revealed type 2 diabetes ...yep i was shocked.also high blood pressure..appointment was made with neph dr.but ended up seeing him a in emergency when i became dehydrated..stayed in hospital for 4 days mainly bed rest....had kidney biopsy march which i still dont have the full answers only what my gp could find out was something to do with scaring..and my last gfr was 18...I dont really understand whats going on or whats going to happen..I have good days and bad days..im outta bed by 7am and totally exhausted by lunch time..im keeping my sugers undercontrol by forcing myself to eat at appropriete time..(still of my food) ..Have fluid on the bottom parts of legs at the end of afternoon sometimes really bad, and then when i wake in the morning the fluid has shifted to my hands..sometimes i hardly go to the loo when the fluid is on my legs...then other days i pee all day..but what ive started to notice is really froathy urine and its not by the pressure it comes out cause it is an un even flow sometimes dribble.Also have cold hands and feet some times my whole body shakes.Also have pale skin ..Im constantly stressing out because of not knowing a lot of info or even knowing what to look at because im not sure why? or even if my ckd has a name...my husband is usually hiding from me because of my moods and emotional outbursts and dosnt understand how i feel..My friends cant see past my fake smile..they ask me questions and i cant answer them , i usually just say its a bad day or good day now...I have some sort of virul infection at the moment either flu or cold ,because my aches and pains are worse than usual, i fell weaker.. have congestion, trouble catching my breath.. bigger headaches than the usual.and diahrea.going to gp today for a check up , and back to specialist end of june ...hopefully they can tell me something and put my stress levels down a bit..
( had vasculitis 1997. which caused kidneys to fail,they recovered , not sure wether fully or not.. everthing seemed to be going fine until 2001 then had a flare up but this time caused joint inflamation...been quiet since about 2003 until now, hopefully they can give me answer soon)..I would like at last one day without having to worry about what is going on..
